AudioStreamer is a program that allows you to listen to online radio stations and make recordings.

The interface of the tool is plain and simple. You can use a search function to find your preferred stations and limit them by bandwidth or genre.

Furthermore, you can use the local database, adjust the volume, view station information (website, song history and station info) and create a favorites list.

If you want to record audio tracks, simply press the "Record" button. Plus, they can be accessed within AudioStreamer's interface, in the "Recording Library" section.

In addition, you can view the station name, genre, URL, server, bit rate, sampling rate, channels, type and currently playing artist, on the bottom part of the screen.

Moreover, you can open the recording history and configure general options (e.g. set the output directory for recordings and the directory name to be created, mute the audio stream volume when minimized, save ID3 tags after a recordings).

The application runs on a moderate amount of system resources, includes a well-written help file with snapshots and didn't pop up errors during our tests. However, it froze several times out of the blue and we had to restart the application.

Plus, it's a bit difficult to pinpoint the exact location of radio channels because the search function does not work properly. Also, you cannot view their country of origin. At the moment AudioStreamer needs to work on some technical issues. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself to see if it fits your preferences.
