DTM Data Comparer is a professional software application whose purpose is to help you compare and synchronize databases, such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Interbase/Firebird, MySQL, PostgreSQL and DB2.

The tool adopts a multi-tabbed layout for helping you make use of five comparison and synchronization modes, namely table to table, query to table, query to query, file to table, Excel to table and database.

In the first four modes you can compare two tables and query results with table, text file and Excel spreadsheet, while the last mode is designed specifically for comparing more than one pair of tables per project.

DTM Data Comparer checks out the content of both tables based on the ascending order of primary key values. If the program cannot find two records with the same key value, it displays the records on different lines and highlights them in yellow. If key values coincide, the program highlights the equal fields in green. Red is used for signaling fields which are not equal.

The sync mode allows you to make the contents of the secondary table equal to the contents of the primary one, while table to table mode helps you to view the number of rows in the table, number of columns in the key, as well as number of mapped columns and columns in the table.

The query to table is used for comparing results (or the query execution or procedure call) with the database table, query to query enables you to compare results with another SQL statement execution, while the file to table gives you the option to compare text files with database table.
