JiaoMPC is a software that helps you play audio and video files. It supports several formats, including MP3, MPG, VOB, MKV, RM and AVI.

The user interface of the program is a bit difficult to navigate through. You can import media by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method.

You can use basic commands, such as pause, resume, stop, next track, previous track and volume adjustment. Also, you can switch to full screen mode (if you change the "Effect Preview" tab to "Video Player").

Plus, you can record video, take a snapshot, use a color palette and configure video filter settings (e.g. brightness, contrast).

In addition, you can create a playlist and a slideshow (with the option of adding transitions), as well as configure camera settings (e.g. enable auto bubble and auto motion trace) and the camera format (e.g. video frames, rate), add a watermark and special effects (e.g. underwater).

Furthermore, you can load effects, change effect options (e.g. offsets, opacity, item), as well as configure general settings (e.g. record output folder, video ratio, frame resample, rate and size, enable to fill the virtual camera driver with black pixels when the video is closed).

The program uses a small amount of system resources. Unfortunately, it doesn't contain any kind of user documentation. Since you can easily get confused when initializing this application for the first time, a help file would have been welcomed.

Also, JiaoMPC froze when we attempted to import multiple media files into the playlist. The bottom line is that JiaoMPC could be a great media player. However, it definitely needs to reconfigure its interface. Other than that, we recommend it to all users.
